About A Cup of Light

A Cup of Light started in January 2002 as Dallas, Texas-based collaboration of partners specializing in the modification of fine and common porcelain and china cups. We selectively purchase existing china cups and carefully cut them in half so a light fixture may be placed inside. We have stretched our product range to include various glass bottles by some of your favorite companies. Our product is reaching out nationwide, click on the Where to Buy link to find the store closest to you.

Our pursuits are not limited to the china we select. We also cater to individuals who have their own taste and want their own cups transformed into nightlights. See our Custom Lights page for more information.
